Transport to and from Chicago Midway Airport

Midway Airport counts with several means of transportation to let passengers get to and from the airport with no surprises.

Bus

Midway Airport is served by both suburban and regional buses operated by Pace Buses and CTA Buses.

They all stop at the Midway Transportation Center.

Additionally, regional buses also serve Midway Airport.

Train

"L" Train is without a doubt the cheapest and convenient way to get straight to downtown from Midway Airport by taking the Orange Line.

It is possible to transfer to Chicago and the Loop within 20-25 minutes.

They all stop at the Midway Transportation Center.

Service hours: Daily, 04:00 – 04:30 am to 01:00 am.

Taxi

Get by taxi to downtown Chicago within 30 minutes.

Find taxis at the lower level curbfront of the terminal, in the cab stand.

The ride to Chicago costs around $28.00 - $30.00.

Shuttles

A free shuttle bus to the car rental facilities is available from the Arrivals curb, close to the lower level door 3, outside the Baggage Claim.

Service hours: 24/7, every 15 minutes.

On the other hand, Go Airport Express offers door-to-door service to/from Midway and most city and suburban neighborhoods. Daily shared non-stop rides to and from O'Hare Airport are also available.

Service hours: From early morning and depart every 10-15 minutes from each terminal.
